Additionally a thermal pad is placed on the panel to effectively cool down the monitor. The monitor's innovative back-cover design also incorporates vent holes on the top enhancing the efficiency of heat dissipation and effectively removing heat from the system to reduce the risk of burn-in.

The Swift OLED PG49WCD comes with graphene film behind the QD-OLED panel to keep operating temperatures down. Graphene is the thinnest and strongest nanomaterial in the world and has high thermal conductivity to help effectively dissipate heat.
